STAND IN A FIELD OF HEATHER

 If you read the page  "Things I would like to see and do" you saw that one of the

 things I wanted to do is stand in a field of heather.  However that "thing" has a next to

 it because I didn't get my wish.  I saw fields of heather but they were not in bloom.



On August 29th, I received the following e-mail from a dear friend that I did NOT get to

 meet during my trip.  On my NEXT trip I am definitely going to meet this fine Scottish

 Gentlemen.     Thanks Ranald for the wonderful invitation...complete with picture.

Before your visit to Scotland you did say one of the things that you wanted to do was stand in the heather..... or words to that effect.
 
Well I have first to say sorry the sun was not very bright and secondly, the heather this year is rather late in getting to full bloom.
 
But that does NOT stop me from inviting you to join me....... see the attached picture!! LOL
