I Remember

My Dad was working nightshift one night and My Mum went to the shops and got him some beer so he could sit and relax and have a nice wee drink after his work.

Johnny Wilson and I came in from the pub they were already well on (very boozed) and  had a taste for beer. We were sitting watching TV and plotting ways we could get some more beer. I went into the fridge to make a sandwich and there sat two six packs of beer ....My Dad's beer.

Meanwhile Dad is sitting in work wishing for it to be over; sitting thinking about his nice freezing cold beer in the fridge waiting for him. Mmmmm, the sweet sweet taste, the lovely cold beer sliding down his throat, the condensation running down the can, he could practically taste it.

Eventually it was time for Dad to go home. Driving home  all he could think of was, mmmmmm, beer. He came in the house went into the fridge.....no cans, he started to panic, no beer. He walked in the living room and looked down at the floor. There was Johnny and me passed out with 12 empty beer cans lying on the living room floor.

I woke up and started laughing. My Dad's face went bright red he was almost in tears and he shouted " you pigs, I only wanted one".
